The above compares the similar skull cap imagery for an Egyptian as seen
in
an ivory inscription (likely depicting the presentation of Solomon's
Egyptian wife) compared with the national depiction of an Egyptian by
Darius
at Susa some 475 years later!
The ivory inscription is believed to belong to Solomon as it was found at
Megiddo and Solmon's Egyptian wife came with the wedding gift of the city
of
Gezer being conquered. The ivory would depict the conquered prisoners as
part of the wedding gift from the pharaoh. Solomon is seated on a throne
with similar description as in the Bible. Doves also are seen, suggesting
his reign is one of peace.
