facts do not need affirmation, but theories need to be proven in order
to be recognized as facts

this "armenian genocide" can not be proven by the tools available
using the historical method

indeed, unfortunately many people perished due to various factors,
--nobody denies that, but an intent couldn't be proven to commit an
organized genocide

as professor lewis pointed out it would be a mistake to draw a
parallel between the armenian incident and the holocaust, and he even
explained why so
