I don't have all the answers, and I am basically a hobbyist-student of the
Ancient Greek world.
If I have misunderstood what you say, I apologize.
My readings need to be worked on, and until I get more information I'll
keep
the matter open. If I find new information I'll be sure to revise my
conclusions.
I don't read French, however, I'm sure from what you say that the source
