What is fusgeen?

by lbarnett@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Larry Barnett) Aug 11, 2004 at 06:03 AM

Dear Group,

I've run across a new word that I can't decode. From the context it's
clearly a type of cloth, but dictionary and web searches have come up
dry. The book in question is a fantasy with a late medieval tech
level. This author is so enamored with fusgeen that he uses it several
times, so I doubt it's a typo.

My question to the group is: If I were to see "a hefty man in black
fusgeen"*, what would I be looking at? Did he make it up?

Thanks,

Larry Barnett, Berkeley CA
