Ball gowns and tin-snips!

by Kate Dicey <kate@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 2, 2005 at 01:35 PM

Manic panic ball gown making - the Simplicity Gone With The Wind thing,
in gold, complete with 50 yards of frills, made in 12 days for a mad but
lovely customer!

Needed to buy tin snips for cutting the hoop steel, which wasn't strong
enough, so her hoops are made from double glazing conduit!

So... What do *you* use for hoops, and how do you cut it?
