it was very sad news to here about the Cutty Sark being almost destroyed in
the fire, but it is also very sad news about another Clipper ****p named
the
CITY OF ADELAIDE which is also going to be destroyed by North Ayr****re
Council and the Scottish Maritime Heritage.
the City of Adelaide is due to be deconstructed (broken up) any day now it
is lying on a slipway at Irvine north aye Scotland.
this ****p is built the same way as the cutty Sark and is five years older
infact its in better condition now than the Cutty Sark, it was built at
Sunderland in 1864.
apart from people in Australia and Sunderland no one in the UK seems to
give
one jot about this.....sad.
