To be serious, this proposed film would probably have limited appeal to the

m*****.  Therefore a costly all-star cast would be out of the question. 
It 
could be made by a cast of capable actors drawn from the British stage and

TV.  There are oodles of such people.  Just have a look at British 
productions on TV, such as the Inspector Morse series.
