Hi ..I own a small 3 by 1 1/2 inch carved oak section of the Titanic aft
grand staircase (GSC).
My section depicts a full leaf with its center vain and adjacent berries.
I
believe that my 3 inch piece of the GSC was sectioned off in 1999 from a
picture frame that was made by carpenter Parker aboard the Minia.
The Minia cable ****p of course was commissioned by the White Star Lines to
recover bodies and in the process of doing so, also plucked various
floating
ruminants from the Titanic floating debris field.
Would anyone like to talk or correspond further about the floating GSC
artifacts that were collected by the Minea ..and much later sectioned off
to
folks like me ..and others.
My long term goal is to find (buy) some sort of photo(s) that might depict
the original picture frame(s) that were made by the minia's carpenter
Parker, from collected Titanic debris.
