Basically my interest is in the ****p itself-- the disaster is secondary to
me. I've been almost obsessed with ocean liners my entire life--from the
Great Eastern (arguably the first "real" liner) up to the demise of liners
in the 60's. So all the greats, the early 20th century Cunarders & White
Stars, Bremen, Rex, the Queens, Normandie, France (both of 'em), Paris,
the
Italians, Germans, gads I could go on for hours lol.
My all time fave is Queen Mary, I've been aboard countless times with my
wife & we always spend the night, several times a year.
For some reason I'm not even remotely interested in cruise ****ps,
regardless
of how big or well-appointed.
I'm also fascinated by the "Immortal Remains" as I call them--the great
liners physically still with us, albeit on the ocean floor.
I feel I know some of these ****ps so well that if they could be magically
recreated I could find my way around them without deck plans or directions
lol.
