There is an extensive description of the likely processes that
occurred at during and immediately following the Titanic sinking, both
at the surface and below the surface, in Charles Pellegrino's book,
"Ghosts of the Titanic." He bases his conclusions on the distribution
of items that were do***ented and resting on the ocean floor, from the
boilers to wallets to kitchen utensils from the pantry, as well as
notes the differences between the items that may have fallen from the
surface to those that were likely ejected from the ****p due to the jet
blasts of water trailing behind the bow or stern itself. There are
also illustrations that describe the fall to the sea floor and the
resulting impact.
Though there are some inaccuracies scattered throughout the book, I
found Pellegrino do***ents in detail the probable surface rupture and
sea floor impact theories based on do***ented evidence.
Not to get OT, but anyone here care to comment on the letter written
by electrician Archie Frost to Parr's family three months after the
disaster?
