Peter, if Dave's book is too much for you right now, you may want to
go with a somewhat smaller primer book along the same lines: Tom
McCluskie's "Anatomy of the Titanic" is a very good starter for
people interested in the construction of the Olympic class ****ps, and
it can be bought on Amazon.com or through other online outlets for a
reasonably cheap price.
