Re: France/Norway/Blue Lady

I had the good fortune to be aboard the "Norway" for a week back in
2001 as a featured speaker.  I was essentially allowed the run of the
****p, and it was clear to me that the old "France" was never
completely comfortable in her guise as the "Norway."  Still, she
seemed to impose certain standards on her passengers and crew--there
was none of that "Free Style" dining that took over the rest of NCL's
fleet, and there were a few rooms--the First Class Dining Room, the
theater, a couple of bars--that were retained more or less intact from
the "France."  Gave you an excellent idea of how beautiful a ****p she
must have been in her glory days.  With the QE2 gone now, there aren't
any true transatlantic liners left.  Sad, very sad.
