What is a Victorian Ball?
A great evening with energetic country dances from the 1800s, taught
and called like contra dances, interspersed with period couple dances
like the Waltz, Polka and Schottische.

No experience needed -- The country dances (similar to Contra dances)
will all be taught
at the ball and there will also be a free warm-up class on 2/25 from
1:00-2:30pm at
Triangle Dance Studio in Durham / RTP.
No "fancy" clothes needed -- Semi-formal to formal attire is
encouraged, but not required. See website FAQ for good ideas (we do
request no T-****rts, jeans, or shorts).
No partner needed -- sign up by yourself or with a partner or a group.
Cost:
$20/person ($15/student) at the door
$17/person ($12/student) pre-reg rate until 2/15/06
