Can someone tell me the precise origins of the Amish? My vague
understanding
is that they emigrated from Germany as a result of the German Peasants'
War
of 1525, but I don't know exactly where in Germany they came from. If
there
is a book that goes into their origins in detail, I'd like to know about
it.
