histories of pieces of legislation

by Allan Adler <ara@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 26, 2007 at 11:17 AM

I'm very nearly done reading Patrick Moynihan's book, "The politics of
a guaranteed income. The Nixon administration and the Family Assistance
Plan". I think I would like to read more books like this one, which go
into extraordinary detail about the history of a particular piece of
legislation. If you can recommend other such books of this caliber,
please let me know. Thanks.
