Fall of East Europe Communism

I am looking for a good account of the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe,

approximately over the years 1984-85 through 1992. Not necessarily just in

the former Soviet Union (if I recall correctly, the opening of the 
Hungary-Austria border was a major factor) but throughout the bloc, as one

country after another abandoned communism.

Any book recommendations will be appreciated. I am looking for a book of 
events as they occurred, rather than the ideological factors.
