Pierre Curie father of atomic energy A. Einstein father of confusion
Edited by Franco Selleri
=A0=A0Einstein himself was strongly influenced by positivism in his
youth, and admitted that the special theory of relativity was based on a
direction of thought conforming with Mach's ideas. The hegemony of
logical empirism had, as a first consequence, that Einstein's role was
somewhat inflated, while the contributions of other authors (Lorentz,
Larmor, Poincar=E9, etc.) were generally underestimated. More than
experimental evidence, this was the reason why the typically realistic
conjectures, such as that of ether, were eliminated in favour of more
abstract conceptions.
''more abstract conceptions.'' means if you don't like what you find
from experimentation then project it into the abstract.
Einstein's Religion would not allow him to accept what Curie was
discovering, No man will go against his Religion. so Einstein project
Curie's findings into the Abstract.
''(Lorentz, Larmor, Poincar=E9, etc.) were generally underestimated.''
because the Religion of most scientists was along the lines of
POSITIVISM.
Positivism had a following of more than 4 million and there were other
Anti-Christian Religions,
Relativity became a big hit despite lack of scientific data because it
allowed Mathematicians to elevate themselves over the general
population,
The extreme complexity and abstract mysterious quality of the math,
allowed mathematicians to do what they had done for 5,000 yrs. Elevate
themselves through Religion.
