I presume you are suggesting a "Drowned baby" scenario, which although
pretty fun, struck me as a little improbable. I mean, would gay
socialist street-fighter Rohm have gone down as well with Hitler's OTL
wealthy sup****ters? (If he ever got back from Bolivia, anyway).

The Nazi party was pretty dinky when Hitler got involved: you think it
would have done as well without him? Although I suppose it's possible
that Drexler's DAP might have expanded and mutated into something
im****tant: there was clearly some open ideological ground on the right
for the Nazis to expand into OTL. Still, I'm a believer in the
im****tance of personalities: Hitler combined political talent with
crazy to a remarkable extent, and I don't think he's that easily
replaceable if you want to turn east-central Europe into a
charnelhouse.
