I never said the contrary. I do say Franco was clever and cautious, and I
do 
believe that the fact that he did not have accidents is more than sheer
luck 
(or unluckiness of those who had them).
Also note how Queipo de Llano, also a more im****tant figure in the plot
than 
Franco, ended up sidetracked; Cabanellas, who had opposed the appointment
of 
Franco as generalisimo and head of state, ended up as chief inspector. 
That's for the generals; as to the political leaders, no attempt was made
at 
saving Primo de Rivera; Fal Conde was forced into exile. It's more than a 
series of coincidences.
