Yeah, always hard to prove 'the negative' 
(or even to be really positive in your own mind of ??)

#1.  What would you do if you were one?
   (tis prudent sometimes, to let sleeping dogs lie...
    and if you;ve been a sleeping dog, maybe best to just 
    not stir up a fuss...)

#2.  Recall one person involved in the transfer of US 
A-bomb secrets to Soviets (I can't recall name right now 
but fairly easily found).  Only years later was 'fairly firm' 
evidence found to identify him, he was questioned.
He has been very careful in his statements. 
He will not (to public's knowledge) give evidence against 
himself or others, nor will he deny, but will say that 
that was a long time ago, and he has changed his mind 
about many things.  Prudent!

The majority probably would have been, 
for a reasonable period of time.
But, they are human --- alterable - software.
(You can "hardwire" a computer or any machine 
to until disabled - do it's thing on command)
But as years go by, a person will change and evolve.
Take a person fresh out of "boot camp" & "AIT", 
test them as to attitudes, values, & reactions to 
specific stimulis.
Do it again, 2 years later - a change.
Ten & Twenty years later - more change.
Some things remain, but others greatly altered.
